She is more suited as a TPM than an SDM. She looks like she is calm and trying to help but she is not technical at all which means all the pressure falls on the team to attend meetings and respond in conversations to answer any questions. Lack of understanding means she does not push back where needed leading to a lot of churn and unnecessary meetings. Also she has neither a clear vision of the product nor good technical foundation to lead any engineer. More than half of her team has left recently for the above reasons.
