Know your manager before you join.

Just awful and has no visibility to what the team is doing, not a good manager

He is good in various aspects. I like to work with him and he is easy communicate.

- Stay away from this manager, does not help individuals to grow. - Very short tempered, Often seen threatening engineers. - highly political, only thinks about his own carrier, wont help engineers grow at all - No technical knowledge - The worst manager to work under, short tempered and bad mouth - His team lead and him literally created the worst team culture one can think of. Intel should shunt him out. This guy ruined the intel culture and values

He didn’t get his senior title through technical merit or leadership skills but got it through aggressive sucking up, nepotism, and backstabbing. He spends 100% of his energy sucking up to our Principal Engineer and his boss to look good. It is incredibly frustrating working under someone who treats their engineers like political stepping stones. Because he is highly protected by his network, escalating to HR or our L7 feels like a trap.
